GUARDIAN OF RULERS
HAJDUK 1627
We present the silhouette of a Hajduk from the year 1627. Organized under the reforms of King Stephen Bathory, the Hajduks formed the backbone of the Commonwealth’s infantry, serving as royal guards, fortress defenders, and vital fire support during wars with Sweden.

MATCHLOCK MUSKET (MUSZKIET LONTOWY): Primary firearm using slow match ignition.
CARTRIDGE POUCH (ŁADOWNICA): Leather belt pouch for powder and shot.
POWDER FLASK (PROCHOWNICA): Container for gunpowder supply.
SLOW MATCH (LONT): Ignition cord for the musket.
HUNGARIAN SABER (SZABLA WĘGIERSKA): Curved blade with massive yelman.
HATCHET (TOPOREK): Weapon and essential camp tool.
ŻUPAN: Long blue under-garment.
MENTE: Red outer jacket representing regimental livery.
