We present the silhouette of a Musketeer from the year 1634, representing the modernized infantry of King Władysław IV Vasa and their decisive role in the Smolensk War.

HAT: Wide-brim felt hat adorned with feathers.
MATCHLOCK MUSKET (MUSZKIET LONTOWY): Long smoothbore firearm of large caliber.
REST (FORKIET): Forked support staff for firing.
BANDOLIER: Shoulder belt with wooden powder charges known as the Twelve Apostles.
POWDER FLASK (PROCHOWNICA): Reserve gunpowder container.
SLOW MATCH (LONT): Ignition cord.
RAPIER: Sidearm for close combat.
DOUBLET (WAMS): Blue fitted jacket forming part of the uniform.
CASSOCK (KOLET): Short blue coat with small cape.
BREECHES: Loose trousers reaching the knees.
STOCKINGS AND SHOES: Wool stockings and leather shoes fastened with thongs.
